Polypropylene cavity drainage membranes for interior walls and basements
Oldroyd Xv Black • Designed to be a highly effective solution for diverting water away from walls, floors and other surfaces.
Xv Black is used internally to provide a dry surface over damp walls and floors. Oldroyd Xv Black provides an exceptionally fast, convenient method of providing dry walls and floors on new build and refurbishment projects.
Xv Black is a membrane made of polypropylene, with a characteristic pattern of studs and channels. It is resistant to all chemicals normally found in the soil. Together with fastening materials of all types, jointing tapes, jointing ropes and finishing profiles, Oldroyd Xv provides a complete system for combating the problem of moisture.
Xv Black can be covered with plasterboard, dry lining, screed or a floating timber floor. If any free water enters the cavity behind the membrane (eg basements), then an Oldroyd Aquadrain drainage facility leading to a sump and pump will need to be incorporated.
Oldroyd Xv20 • Designed for large commercial basements and significant water ingress.
Xv20 is a large (20mm) stud-size cavity drainage membrane for waterproofing and drainage.
Xv20 benefits from the large studs providing greater drainage and flow capacity than standard cavity drain membranes. For this reason Oldroyd Xv20 is ideally suited to the waterproofing of large commercial basements.
Made from polypropylene, Oldroyd Xv20 is easy to use and is fully compatible with other membranes in the Oldroyd range. Xv20 incorporates Multi-Layer Technology resulting in a membrane with much greater strength than normal studded membranes, whilst the use of recycled material in the central layer benefits the environment.
