	Sandy Patience - GreenSpec Editor Sandy is an architect who has maintained a commitment to sustainable construction from the time he read ‘The Autonomous House’ as a student. Following a deep involvement in the nascent ‘Green’ movement, he moved to running his own competition winning London-based practice. Sandy has established and grown GreenSpec over the last decade as well as writing about green building and ethics for other publications such as the Architects’ Journal.'
	Anna Pamphilon - GreenSpec Assistant Editor Anna is an architect and sustainabilty consultant. She has a track record of consultancy to many award-winning London practices. She recently achieved her MSc Architecture at the Centre of Alternative Technology. Anna is currently researching and delivering lectures on the subject of Post Occupancy Evaluations (POE), a methodology that she believes will help close the gap between idealism and realism.
	Dr Andrew Norton Andrew specialises in developing transparent LCA methods and has worked on renewable materials R&D for over 15 years. He has enjoyed working with and advising the likes of Imperial College, Lotus Engineering, the World Bank, DEFRA and UPM Tillhill. As well as leading the development of LCA tools for the CAP’EM Project and producing and verifying EPDs for a wide range of commercial clients. He also sits on the BSI committees for sustainable and bio-materials.
	Prof Callum Hill Callum works on EPD development as well as chemistry based projects. He is an authority on sustainability and has been researching the science behind renewable materials for 18 years. He is the author of two text books and over 150 research publications. He has conducted research into wood modification, timber properties, natural fibre reinforced composites, natural insulation materials and biopolymers. He took up the Edinburgh Research Partnership Chair of Materials Science at the Forest Products Research Institute of Edinburgh Napier University in 2007.
	Dr Peter Ruifrok Peter is a Dutch national who has lived in the UK for many years and was until recently based at the Lancaster Environment Centre at Lancaster University. He holds a PhD in Chemistry and Pharmacy and has worked for large chemical multinationals such as AKZO (Pharmaceuticals), Avebe (Chemicals for Technical Applications) and DSM (Fine Chemicals) in a number of technical, commercial and general management roles. A special part of the consultancy is focussed on the REACH and CLP regulations and chemical substitution strategies. Dr. Peter Ruifrok is co-author of the first textbook on the complex Reach legislation.
	Mark Siddall Mark Siddall, of LEAP: Low Energy Architectural Practice, is a practicing architect that has a keen interest building performance. Issues of usability and practicality inform his approach and have increasingly led to an appreciation of the need for an integrated, consensus based, design process. He was project architect, and Passivhaus Designer, for 25 award winning, Passivhaus Certified dwellings at the Racecourse Estate, Houghton-le-Spring. He was also project architect on a number of award winning Retrofit for the Future projects that targeted an 80% reduction in carbon emissions. Mark is a technical advisor to the PassivHaus Trust and a part time Senior Lecturer in Construction at Northumbria University.
	Cath Hassel Cath is an expert in sustainable water strategies and low-carbon and zero-carbon technologies. She set up ech2o consultants ltd in 2004, a company that works with local authorities, developers, housing associations, water companies, community groups, architects and engineers, at both a strategic and individual site level, to successfully incorporate sustainable water and low carbon solutions into the built environment.  She was a founder member of the UK Rainwater Harvesting Association (UKRHA), and of SWIG (the Sustainable Water Industry Group) and was a director of the AECB (the Sustainable Building Association) for 7 years.
	John Bullock John Bullock is Managing Director of GreenSpec Light, and works to encourage and support UK lighting manufacturers to achieve a sustainable business model via the GS-L CSR Accreditation programme.  He has worked in the UK lighting industry for over thirty years.as an independent lighting design consultant and still practices lighting design from his base in Dorset. He writes regularly for the lighting trade press and has become an important voice speaking on CSR and Sustainability within the industry.
