Ground reinforcement system
‘Perfo is a distinctive ground reinforcement solution. The durable, all-weather system, based on interlocking tiles, is suitable for reinforcing soft ground and grassed areas such as tracks, grass car-parks, airfields, equestrian areas and campsites.
Interlocking ground reinforcement tiles The patented Perfo system comprises secure interlocking tiles that are rolled into grass or soft ground to prevent rutting. The tiles have a textured surface that affords a safe anti-slip surface. Once installed, they allow grass to grow up through them in a short space of time, helping to preserve the natural appearance of the location. The tiles also allow water to flow through them, thereby maintaining natural drainage. Moreover, the system provides an economical alternative to concrete and tarmac.
Composition and manufacture The polyethylene / polypropylene tiles have good load-bearing and weight distribution properties, and can withstand loads of up to 40 tonnes/m2, depending on ground conditions. They resist frost, acids, solvents and heat, and are not subject to rotting. ‘
