SSP 'Wet Pour Rubber'

Outdoor rubber surface, poured

‘SSP insitu Wet Pour Rubber Safety Surfacing, often described as ‘Soft Pour’ or ‘Spongey Tarmac’, consists of a rubber crumb bound together by binders and laid to various thicknesses to achieve the required impact absorption. SSP only uses EPDM Rubber as a wearing course on all our Wet Pour Systems with black being a standard colour with reds, blues, greens and yellows, plus a range of other colours available.

By adding shapes, games and graphics a play area can become a learning tool, help to promote physical activities and brighten up a bland playground. Insitu Wet Pour Rubber can be laid over solid standing areas such as tarmacadam or concrete, or onto a Type 1 MOT Stone base if converting an existing grassed area.

All SSP Safety Surface Systems are tested in accordance with BS EN1177 and BS EN 7188, for various Critical Fall Heights, abrasive wear, slip resistance and ease of ignition.'
