SSP 'Proplay'

Synthetic grass surfaces for sport, leisure and play

‘The SSP Proplay Safety Surface System consists of one or two layers of shock absorbent recycled closed cell polyethylene foam impact matting covered with artificial sandfilled grass in green, red and blue. A proven alternative and cheaper than conventional rubber-based products, SSP PROPLAY does not absorb water or contain any glues or adhesives. It is a cost saving system, it is ideal for low-maintenance, safe all weather play areas and it can be installed on existing macadam or greenfield sites

The SSP Proplay Safety Surface System can be used on all play areas, from small playgrounds to larger sports areas, where an impact absorbing surface is important. The System has been tested in accordance with BS7188:1989 Methods of test for impact absorbing playground surfaces; and in accordance with European Standard BS EN 1177 (1998).’
