Isowool ‘Crimp Wrap’
Thermal insulation for storage vessels, tanks, pipes and ducts
‘Isowool Crimp Wrap is designed to insulate storage vessels, tanks and ducts. It is also suitable for thermal and acoustic insulation in a wide range of applications, such as in heating and ventilating, domestic appliance, marine, transport and industrial sectors, noise control and other general purpose applications.
A flexible glass mineral wool mat, manufactured using a patented method utilising new technology to give increased compression resistance. The product is supplied in roll form, and is faced with a strong reinforced aluminium foil.
The unique variably-oriented fibres provide the thermal and compressible properties found in mineral wool slab products, while still remaining flexible enough to wrap vessels. Isowool Crimp Wrap also eliminates the potential for strip delamination during fabrication and installation common in traditional tank wrap products such as lamella mat.’
